My rig I built a year ago. It's been running nice and stable at 3.4gHz. I haven't OC'd past that, since it runs my games very nicely at those speeds. To compliment the PC's performance, I connect to the interwebs with a 20/5 FiOS circuit -->

Specs:
Cooler Master Stacker 830 case w/8 120mm fans, Gigabyte DS4 Mainboard, E6850 CPU, OCZ Reaper RAM, 2 x WD Raptor X (150gig) in RAID0, NVidia 8800GT GPU, Thermaltake 750w PSU, Thermaltake V1 CPU cooler, and a Samsung 22" monitor.

 

I wish I had upload speed like that! Takes forever to transfer large files to the server when I'm working on my websites.

 

I love it. What's crazy is that for $10/month more, I could get the 20/20 deal, but I just don't need it. The next step up from there gets pricey though at $140/mo, but you get 50/20, and 5 static ip's.

Uncle built it for me. Intel Duo 2, Nvidia 8600GT, 2 gig of ram, etc. Logitech 5.1, Samsung 23" lcd TV.

Your uncle has a damn clean setup there. I like what you got going there Z. Your PC could use a few component upgrades, but it's good. Those speakers are nice as hell though. They're still over $300 last time I checked. I'm planning on selling my old video card soon. I want to get the Z-2300 with the money I get, which is the 2.1 setup with the 2 speakers and the 8" sub. Sick as hell for only $100.

 

My set up is one year old. Its just fine for surfing the internet and playing music, and typing the occasional paper. When I do want to upgrade, all I've gotta do is get it to my uncle and say, "make it faster."
