Newbie here!!!

Hows it going guys,
Names Jeff I'm 31 years old and from Adairsville Ga. I have been a Ford nut my entire life just like my dad!
Thanks to my Father-in-law getting a 2008 F-150 I now have one of my very own.
He gave me his old truck! a 1997 5.4L F-150 XLT Super Cab w/ 158000 miles on it. The truck looks and runs great and just had a new transmission put in it about two months ago.
I look forward to visiting this site in the future.

I'll post some pictures soon.

Jeff OUT!

What us that old Ford in the background? and which engine does it have?

Great looking truck, I'd have to loose the running boards for my first mod.
Also I can sell them for you, I have an older Uncle that is wanting some.

Well the old ford in the back ground belongs to the lady next door and I've been trying for 2 years to get here to sell it but she won't do it. I think it has a 390 in it. as for the running boards I've thought about removing them, but they are a little scuffed up (not too bad) and my wife likes them I think I'll give it a monhe or so and take them off to see if she notices!

ugh.... noobs and their worthless threads.

Just kidding with you man. I like the truck. Haven't decided on the running boards yet though. Once you take them off, you'll figure out real fast which you prefer though.
You should def. con the lady into selling the old Ford. I can't stand to see people let stuff sit and rot away.
Don't forget to check into the 97-03 forum either, and don't ever cruise the site with a credit/debit card in hand, or you'll find yourself in trouble.

Welcome!
Looks like a 66 in the background there, and if it is a 3/4 ton or bigger, get it from her and sell it to me!
