Unhappy

Well my "demo" version of Nero 4.0 has expired.
Does Winamp allow you to create CD-Rs from Mp3s without converting them to wav. first?

Red face

Just installed Winamp.
A LOT better than RealplayerG2 IMHO.
It even shuffles my Mp3s like my changer, great for background music while I'm on the computer.
Excellent way to play Mp3s but does not burn to CD-Rs.

Winamp will take your MP3 files to wav files. Just open preference on winamp, go to Plug-ins, then output. Once there, double click on "Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in v1.0" then select the folder you want to put the wav files you will make in. After that close the preferences window and open up the song you want to make a wav file of, and hit play on winamp and it will make it. When your all done make sure you switch the output(in preferences) back to where winamp just plays the music(the nullsoft Waveout plugin). You will still have the MP3 file after you make a wav file too, it won't delete it. Hope this helps! Oh yeah...Napster rocks too.

I use audiocatalyst. You can get it at audiocatalyst.com. It won't allow you to do all the songs on your cd since its the free trial version but if you close and reopen the program a few times you get all the songs eventually.

Hope this helps ya!

My truck has a built-in MP3 player. The combo of www.napster.com , www.scour.net , and www.empeg.com ROCKS!
(2x 10" kicker subs help too...)

Having used Napster before, I definitely have to say this is one thread that F-150 Online needs to disclaim all content on!

To rip audio-cd's to wav. try Audiograbber.

To edit your MP3's try CoolEdit 1.2 wav. editor.
You can copy, cut, paste audio, add some special effects like reverb etc.
