Interesting article....

Could have been posted before.. I can't remember.. oh well. I like it anyways.

I was born in one country, raised in another. My father was born in another country. I was not his only child. He fathered several children with numerous women.

I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me. My mother died at an early age from cancer.

Later in life, questions arose over my real name.

My birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate.

I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my country, but

I practiced non-traditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity, except in the public eye under scrutiny.

I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult, disguising myself as someone who really cared about them.

That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career.

I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.

I became active in local politics in my 30's then with help behind the scenes, I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my 40's. They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything. That reinforced my conceit.

I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.

I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances. This bolstered my ego.

At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy. I was very critical of my country in the last war and seized every opportunity to bash my country.

But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy. I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better and every poor person would be fed & housed for free.

I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations. I decided to start making citizens hate them and if they were envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight.

I called mine "A People's Campaign" and that sounded good to all people.

I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics & was able to gain widespread popular support.

I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope' , together we could change our country and the world.

So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include "persecuted minorities" like the Jews. My true views were not widely known & I needed to keep them unknown, until after I became my nation's leader.

I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found out what I really believed, if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with.

I'm glad they didn't. Then I became the most powerful man in the world. And the world learned the truth.

Who am I?

ADOLF HITLER.

OF WHOM WERE YOU THINKING ?

i thought hitlers parents were married? according to his bio his dad died when he was 13 and his parents were married up until that date. although it said he had many siblings and his dad was violent towards him and his mom. maybe his dad knew he was going to become a murderer and crazy.

Ah yes but you are forgetting that this is a rather pathetic attempt by Chris to compare Hitler with Barrack Obama.
For example, the line "I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my country, but ....."is just as untrue because Hitler was baptised as a Catholic so therefore always a Christian and never converted.

Not so much fun for the idiots that way though

I got a copy of it before the elections in my email. Regardless if the likeness is real or not, we need to at least give Mr Obama the opportunity to screw up. Who knows, he may just surprise you and be a darn fine President. But until he screws up, he deserves our support. So far, I'm liking some of the things he has said in regards to the economy- if it works we'll keep it. If it doesn't work- we'll get rid of it. And no ear marks on the bailout plan will be accepted. So far, he's saying things I like....and I did not vote for him. I also like some of the folks he has appointed to posts. He's picked out the best there are and he also doesn't seem to have issues about going across party lines for input. So far, I'm impressed. I thought he was going to be far worse. We'll just have to wait and see.

You know Chris, reading comprehension isn't really your strong point, is it?
Can you show me anywhere in my response to your post where I either defended socialism or claimed to be a liberal/socialist?
I'd like to think that you have some wacky kind of dyslexia where the letters become jumbled up and you really read something other than what's on the page.
If that was the situation, maybe you could be helped but sadly I think your more a case of like when Ron White said "You can't fix stupid".

Its tough being a Christian Conservative...but I find solace in poking liberal atheists with sticks and the word.

Hey Chris---remember what you said and stated catagorically that the roads and stuff---"socialsim is geting bold" thread? Got some news for ya,

I talked to my Economics teacher today, (Who by the way, has a Masters in Econ and worked for the Fed) and he said that Obama's pumping $$$ into the roads WAS NOT SOCIALSIM! If anybody would have a strong grasp on what capitalism is, what socialism is, and what communism is...well, Chris, it would be this guy---he is the expert.

I have come to believe that everything you disagree with has to be labeled "SOCIALISM" An expert on socialsm, you are not.

An economics teacher huh? He has a masters huh? so that makes him a genius? Where did he get his masters? You think that a masters degree makes him smart? He may know a lot about economics, but that doesn't make him right. And my dad is bigger than your masters degree holder......

My goodness Chris, you are indeed talking our of your ****...

He does, indeed, know more about economics than both you and I...and, by the way, have you ever taken a class in Micro Economic or Macro Economics? And yes, Chirs, just reading your childish and immature response to this does prove that you know squat about econ...

Genius, maybe he is not (but heis pretty darn close); but more knowledgeable about econ than both you and me...definitely. Get a grip Chris...you are incorrect.

Perhaps I should go back to post #8 and change reading comprehension for comprehension full stop.

Again, Where did I defend Obama? Where did I claim to be liberal?
You really need to learn how to form an argument instead of just randomly typing.

Regarding the sig, I have quoted you directly. You appear to have just made up something and attributed it to me. That is not taking something out of context. Do you even understand what the term means?
Therefore, please remove my "quote" from your signature as it is a complete fabrication on your part.
If you want one from me for your sig, try this one
