friend crashed 01 scab

my friend has an 01 scab 2wd w/ a spindle lift, bigger coil springs, and sadly stacks and some other junk done to it. he feel asleep on christmas night he said going on the interstate hit a ditch jumped it, hit another ditch jumped it to rolled the truck 8 times, both him and his friend walked away w/ a few scratches. truck cought on fire while he was in it and his buddy had to help him out cuz the door wouldn't open. 1 wheel flew off the truck as well. the pictures on his phone he showed me that truck was destroyed. now the seat belts he said were a POS. his seat belts didn't lock during the crashed, he hit his head on the windshield and steering wheel and the airbags didn't go off to quickly. but some how he walked away. him and his friend sat on the side of the road for an hour and a half and passed out and when they woke up called the cops, no body had reported the crash yet. good to know these trucks are built well. just thought id share how tough these trucks are

Wow glad you friend walked away with only scratches and nothing else. That scenario could have had quite a different outcome and it sounds like some one was watching over them.

Were they drunk?

How do you ''pass out'' after this experience before calling the authorities?

nah, its one kid that i know that doesn't drink, do drugs, smoke, dip or any thing. i think he passed out from being really tired and just the pain from the crash. he hit his head hard so probly had a concussion. but he is the one and only person i can trust when they say they weren't drinking. if you saw the kid the first thing you would think is partier and screw up but he is completely different. all i know is he was alright and thats obviously all that matters

I'd love to see the pix... I think it will suffice my F150s with Stacks love for now... till next week.

Oh... and my stack project...

100% pure ManualF150 American made ingenuity.

Like I always say: Always original, never-to-be-duplicated, guaranteed to scare people off, retched-smelling, and ultra-slow, has got to be ManualF150's pride.

i doubt it. he doesn't have picture messaging on his phone.

well, he had a v8, so manual can still be original w/ a v6.

The seat belts won't lock until a sudden stop. You can test yours by hitting the brakes.
He was sleeping and still moving forward and didn't stop until he rolled so they would not lock until the airbags were triggered.
Glad everyone is OK. Trucks are replaceable, friends are not.
