Cool

It is quite a site for most when I lay a mean streak of rubber all the way through first, half way through 2d and a mean chirp into 3rd. People just don't believe that a truck this large is able to do that. i have freightened away many "racers" with this truck. The best is when you are at a stop light with a "rice rocket" with a kid that thinks his "car" is the s**t and you just tear him a new one off the line...and just keep going

I'm in trouble with the wife... (her truck).
The other day I started up our steep asphault drive and "punched it" - left a rather heavily melted strip about 20 feet long (had to get off it )
Gotta love those V-10's he he he

I did this a couple times in my 98 5.4L...I have decided to be nicer to my 2000...but I am certain it would smoke them from the line. The tires are still new enough where they grab the pavement and do not spin.

Fast: you are absolutly right, I must have subconconsely been holding back It is a NEW truck after all. But honestly, I haven't been able to spin any wheels and I DO leave everybody behind me at the light!!! It does seem to be pretty quick for such a heavy truck.

Red face

Just did a F550 today... 4" down pipe and 4" exhaust and a "hot" superchip... Let's just say that is is DAMM fast and can lay a nice set of tracks if you power brake it just right!

Hell yeah! Just ask anybody that has gone to the rallys. And when Pony drives my truck she always has to do it. But it's ok, I really never get on my truck that much anyway.....ok, only when I'm at the rallys, hell you have too to keep up with that bunch (damn lightnings and fast sport trucks).

No problem just plant foot and keep it strait and grin from ear to ear. At the end if 1 road I can come out with a wicked power slide

Hey Neil...what was your 1/4 mile time with that 1.9 60'? I wish I could pull anything close to 2.0.

Pastmaster, Yup... 19.5's up in smoke. Did I mention earlier that the owner war retired and was looking for better gas mileage and had "thought" his 550 was fast enough? When he saw that he THEN decided that he had enough power, for now!

Admittedly, it's a Lightning, but this is one of the coolest pics I have seen in a while. Thanks to Mrs. Mumbly for taking it.
