Smile Chicks Online

Okay, first nobody get offended by the use of the word "chicks." I am the least politically correct person I know. It's just my way.

I'm curious to see how many women are on the site now, and how many DRIVE the trucks rather than just tolerate the drivers....

I'll go first...<waving> Hi, I'm Tammy, I don't DRIVE an F150 but I do play one on TV...wait, wrong line. I joined because DAVENSA told me to. I always do what he tells me to do.....yeah RIGHT!!

Tamster,

I am offically posting to the board now! For those who don't know me, I am Pamela. I am one of those wifes that can barly tolerate the drivers. I would rather not drive the F150 b/c Mumbly usually has a coronary in fear that "his baby" gets hurt. I stick to driving the Lincoln LS! However, I am finding these guys and the way they are with their trucks to be very entertaining. Its funny that its like pulling teeth to get things done around the house but when it comes to the truck, its first priority.

Tina, you're bringing the beer? You could instantly become my best friend...

Pamela...I won't drive Dave's truck either. I might someday, if I get over being chicken because I'm really short, and that truck really ISN'T....seeing over the dash is my first pre-req in a vehicle.

I got into this to humor Dave, but I must admit it's actually turned out to be quite fun. I have met some neat people, and I am comforted in knowing that Dave has a strong support group for his affliction. 13 years ago I tho't he was insane, driving on the wrong side of the road to avoid a puddle of water...watching 17 pickups do it on the Dallas freeway was a real eye-opener!! (and a heart-stopper at a couple of points). It's not proof that he's NOT insane, it's proof that there are MANY insane people and they find strength in numbers...

Well I must run, he's been out of town all week and is coming home tonight...and I really need to wash my car before he pulls into the driveway! SHHHHH don't tell him I said that...

I'll move it MY DAYUM SELF! And with a truck, I CAN!:-Þ Besides, lots of guys find it quite arousing to see a woman in a truck, shifting them gears! Can't wait for hubby to get an 18 wheeler! Guess I'm just a lucky guy for bein able to snag a girl (ponysix8) who loves Fords. It's good to have a girlfriend who doesn't think of the truck as just another truck, she loves em almost more than I do. You just gotta love that, I do.

Claudia...I can see your point, although I must say that even if I drove a pickup, I'd probably still get Dave to move my dayum stuff for me!! Besides, my attraction to the pickup is purely for cosmetic purposes...it looks REALLY GOOD with my boots and suede jacket (oh, and the driver ain't half bad, either). I just like showing up anywhere I'm going in that bad-a$$ pickup. It's as simple as that. The more stuff he does to it, the better *I* look, and quite frankly, that's all that matters anyway, isn't it? LOL

Keep on truckin'.....the Tamster
