Anyone watch Robbie Maddison on Espn last night?

This is an awesome jump but I would have filled my pant's up with the stinky on the way back down. The video after this one is pretty cool a guy attempt's a back flip in a pickup truck.

i saw it in the chow hall over here. pretty awesome. i think the going back down part was much harder to do in my opinion, the landings always seem to hurt these guys doing motorcycle jumps. did you see his jump from last year? he jumped a looong distance.

i missed the truck flip, i remember last year the driver got hurt in practice, did he complete it this year?

I heard it too and that slashed broken hand must hurt and the announcer lady was trying to talk to him and you know he was in pain but he is definately a trooper for staying and talking to her with that pain.

Robbie Maddison is crazy wasn't it just last year he jumped 322ft for a redbull event? I would have been crying after I landed coming down he landed way low on that ramp. Redbull is really pushing the extreme sports, I was bummed I couldn't make it to the air race in detroit last summer.

The motorcycle jump was awesome. That guy is nuts.

The "truck" back-flip was a bit of a let down. I was expecting more of a truck on a normal dirt ramp, not a purpose built back-flipping machine and mechanical back-flip inducing ramp. What did the guy have to do other than hold it at a certain RPM and hit the ramp?

The truck made it all the way around, but it landed on the right rear tire then rolled. If it were a normal truck it would have been fine landing like this, but the suspension rebound was set up really weird in order for the truck to flip.

That jump was awesome!! I'd been following it awhile and he almost wadded it up practicing it several days prior. It sure made Robbie Kenevel's jump look lame.

no joke .. plus the telecast of Robbie's jump looked and sounded like it was done by the local Las Vegas Junior High School Media Club .. it was pathetic .. made the jump look worse than it was, even after they tried to make us all concerned about how Robbie could die by showing us that high tech CGI of the ways he could crash ..

I have never really been impressed with Robby Kenevals jumps, most of the time any freestyle moto rider can go out and out jump him. He will never live up to his dad's name.
