New Year

I'm just going to stay in tonight. Might go out for dinner with the girl but if not we will probably just order chinese and enjoy a night in watching the bands on tv and stuff.

My wife and I are staying home this year and just grilling some steaks on the grill and a nice bottle of wine.

I just finished making chicken parmesan, Going to have it with garlic bread and a salad. Since tonight is "amature night" on the roads, we always stay home.

Later, some shrimp on the grill with a garlic butter sauce, some home-brewed dunklebock, and assorted other munchies.

Tomorrow, though, chili, beer, nachos, etc.

Do not have to go back to school until the 5th.

Gonna club some baby seals, and use up some of our countries natural resources....Wait, thats what I am doing on Inauguration Day. New Years, I am gonna go to a party where the folks are at least a decade older than me and my wife, have a few drinks, eat some good food (sushi) and then stay at my parents who are watching my daughter for the nite. Pretty much a lame, easy going evening.

Gonna take a nap when I'm done with my after work beer. No food here, so I'll probably end up going out for something when I get up. I might just swing through the drive thru and come home, but I will probably end up at the bar.

Staying home. The wife is in the hospital tonight getting an immune shot. I will get her out tomorrow. So it is me and the dog seeing the new year in again.

Apparantly a friend is coming over to make sure all my whiskey, vodka and beer supply doesn't see the dawn of 2009.

This should be interesting.

There's a 2-1/2-year-old that will keep me and the wife at home tonight.

Once the little guy goes to bed, some friends of ours are coming over and bringing a Honey Baked Ham they bought for a Christmas Party that never went down. I'm making roasted potatoes, green bean casserole and baked bread to go with it.

Around midnight we'll break out an apple pie I bought from a great local bakery and some vanilla ice cream.

Attire for the affair: Pajamas.......

Too much going on lately, I'll be cruising the net. Just helped one Son pack a Grizly CV joint.
Having alot of trouble trying to get an ignition lock cylender in the 97 F150 right now.
Begining to think the Gremlins are in it, as I've never had trouble with that before.
Got the wife cooking and started on the blush wine.
Kids are all going out, all in all great evening ahead. Not to often the house is quite.

Just finished fresh Tuna steaks with sun dried tomatos, scallions and mushrooms. Plan to settle in with a bottle of Cabernet and share the evening at home with my wife.

Nothing special going on in our house. Cleaning spyware off a friends computer right now and my wife is making dinner. After dinner I'll probably play some COD WaW and then fly my heli sim for awhile. We might see midnight. If not, no big deal.
