Exclamation The parking lot: My 1st door ding!

Why is it when you park the FURTHEST away from all possible civilization ultimately some idiot parks next to you with his POS and hits and dings your door

What cant people respect one another's stuff????

My truck has about 1500 miles on it and now thanks to some loser in an older 4 door lexus, its first door ding. Which of course I did not see until today....

We went to see Benjamin Button yesterday and like always I parked in my spot which is like on the other side of no where, low and behold....

Rant over...

If the paint is not damaged, a paintless dent guy can make it like new again for not a whole lot of money.

Yep! Been there done that! So far nobody has got my new truck but its coming. I just know it!

Like bluejay said, paintless dent removal works great. Some horses a$$ got my wifes CRV while we were on vacation and I took it to Dent Wizard and they charged me like $60.

On a side note....I would love to catch someone doing that.

You just jinxed yourself.

I park in no man's land ALL the time, usually parking kitty corner cross 4 spots, only to come out and find other F150/250/350's doing the same thing!
I came outta BJ's the other day and found a lil black smart car parked just like me. Wish I had the camera... it was kinda cute.

Yeah, I know a dent guy can fix it, it just sets me off, its pretty close to a body line too. I had a car that had been keyed before too, that sucks but at least insurance covers it. Why cant people just care, does it cost them anything, NO!

Many rears ago I had the body work and paint done on my 1968 cady convertable. It was in the carport for a week before I put the chrome and bumpers on it. Only to find the one side scratched by the neighbourhood kids playing hide and seek. I was pissed.

i was sitting in my truck in the mall parking lot, and a jeep rolls in next to me with 2 old ladies in it... the old hag opens her door real fast and smashes it right into mine.... while looking right at me...
i could not believe it... i open my window, she shrugs her shoulders and walks away... there was no damage done, that old bit.. is VERY lucky... i had only had my truck for 24 hours...

it was so tempting to put a pebble between her valve stem and dust cover though...

the girl with me said i should have done something.. im just too laid back to care i guess..

That really sucks. many people don't care about their own vehicle, never mind yours. I'm surprised your running board didn't stop it. I've witnessed it protecting my own truck (I was going to kill the person for being careless, but it was my only daughter). I hope the Dent Lizard can get it out for you.

People do care........about themselves!!!!!!!!

Respect for others property seems to be a concept that people just don't get anymore. Granted, it is only a materialistic thing but when you work hard for it it teaches appreciation which in turn teaches respect. Blah blah blah.......
