This was a pretty hot topic back in 2006. These guys were made out to be pillars of society. They continued to get arrested after the incident where they beat a white student. More than 20k people converged on Jena Louisiana to protest the arrest of the 6 "innocent" black students. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton were there... yelling in megaphones of course.

Anyway, looks like one of the six tried to kill himself after more media publicity when he was arrested AGAIN for shoplifting. Somebody should have got him a .45 for Christmas... the .22 didnt' get the job done.

The lefties certainly could have found a more noble bandwagon to jump on than the one these cats were riding. As usual, the libs simply used the situation as a photo opportunity to continue the false premise that they actually give a rat's behind about race relations in this country. Once the cameras leave, they leave -- never to be heard from again.......

 

Where's the linky??? I wish people would just wake the f*ck up. Let's put 6 black students on a pedestal for beating a white kid and cry that it's racist to charge them with anything more than assult, even though the kid was on the ground covering up while he was kicked and punched by 6 other people. Let's have a protest in a small town to show how "unfair" society is to the black youth of Jena, and make sure Sharpton and Jackson have a plane ticket and media coverage. After all, who better to represent the poor and the mistreated Jena 6 than 2 racists themselves.

Fast Forward 2 years, looks like society would have been better off sending these kids to jail for a while after all. I wonder where Sharpton and Jackson are now? Just once I'd love to see either one of them go to the presses and say "You know, there's only so much that can be done, maybe jail is the best thing for them." Of course that'll never happen. If anything, they'll come out and try to defend their actions again, if they even have the ***** to comment on the subject.

Hey now, The "white man" is obviously holding this poor black kid back. Because he had to pratice football all day he obviously could not work to buy a bigger/better gun. Also, they have kept him from getting a decent anatomy education.
