Post Attention MRBBQMAN

You were saying that you have a company truck which were used to haul steel pipes. If I remember correctly it is a late model F-150 4x2 V-6 SuperCab. The load is worth 1 1/2 tons (3000 lbs), and the mileage is 90K miles right? What modifications did you or your company put on that truck? I need to increase the payload on my truck and I want your input on these. Here are my future mods.

Suspension:
Hellwig LP-25 (Currently have EZ990)
Bilstein HD shocks

Tires:
LT tires, probably BFG (Currently have Goodyear Wrangler AP's P tires)

Drivetrain:
Tranny cooler
Superchip

Have you experienced any problems hauling that much weight day in and day out? Anything wrong concerning the bearings or the axles? I know the engine can handle it since it is rated to tow 10K GCW. I am thinking also instead of getting the LP-25, I will have my springs repacked with more leaves so I can still use my EZ990.

Well I can tell you that the superchip will make a difference in towing power. The shifts are firmer decreasing slippage.

Just hellwig 3000lb overload springs and michelin 265/75/r16 "E" rated tires ( can inflate to 80psi for heavy loads) never any problems with bearings or axles.
