I've only had the busa for a few months. between work and the weather I have not spent a lot of time on it.
It does have "Stooopid Power" and it was comfy on the few trips that I have taken on it.
i haven't ridden the ZX but from what i have been told the performance of the two bikes are very close. so close that i doubt that I will ever push the limits of either. therefore the deciding factor was looks. I don't care for the stock ZX but I have seen a few that look very clean once tricked out with chrome goodies. In addition the busa is a very popular bike which means that it will have way more after market options available. I don't like the look of the first generation busa but i really love the '08's

like i mentioned i haven't ridden the zx so i couldn't give a fair comparison. but i am very happy with the busa..

also try www.hayabusa.org lots of info

I agree with you on the looks. I hated the way the front looked on the older bikes.

I think the 14 looks pretty good stock except for the pipes. If I buy one those would be the first to go.

There is good and bad with having a popular bike, people like to steal them. The thing that worries me about the Busa is the comfort. I like how the Kawi's don't seem to be as low riding as the Busa's. I'm not into racing so it's rare when I'm humping the tank.
