Wink Are your Whites showing?

I just got my new snow tires put on and guess who doesn't like it? Not that I let him drive it anyway. His two complaints were. get this: No white lettering AND the "Truck" tire look spoils the "custom" look.
Well it IS a Truck and my work Truck at that! This is what it looks like:

Here is a link to the performance rating: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/snow/index_perftest.html

What do you people think?

------------------
"Moonlight Blue" 98 F150 SC XLT 2WD 4.6, 3.55 LS Tow Pkg. SUPERCHIP, K&N Airbox mod. w/ "Cool" intake, Mobil One Oil, Bosch +4's. Lund Fastback, Lighted visor, Runninng Boards, Crome Taillight covers, Polished Steel Fenderwell Moldings, Smoked Bug and Rain guards, Shelf-it, Carpet dash cover, Red Wings license plate in front, Red Wings license plate frame in back, Little Detroit Viper hanging from mirror, Oh yeah, and one "Blacked-out" grill.
Gonna get my Bed rails back on, Finally!
Couldn't find the right Polished steel design, so once I modify the powercoated ones I just bought, I will paint them.
Q: who wants my chrome ones? Price:cost of shipping, or gas and maybe lunch if you live in S/E MI.

Get a bottle of typewriter correction fluid.
The tire looks big enough to write 'CUSTOM' on it at least 3 times.

You got to do it extremely neatly though! I remember my first attempt at white lettered tires. It was a disaster. I had to get more correction fluid and just make them whitewalls.
(Gangster whitewalls, as I had tried big letters)

You don't buy snow tires for how they look! BTW, these look fine to me. How they work is a lot more important, though.

White letter tires do look better; however, nothing wrong with a "truck" tire on a truck. But in my opinion if you like them then thats all that matters, besides they're just snow tires anyway.

Andthensometoo: Did you get four or only two?

------------------
Black 2000 SC XLT short-box. 4.2 V-6, 5-speed, 3.55 Limited Slip. Side steps, CD, remote entry, FORD box liner. Add-ons: Older Windstar driver's side wiper blade (with the air scoop, because I don't slow down when it rains), back-up beeper, "f150online.com" sticker and snazzy Tweetie Bird floor mats.

My third F-series: '73 F-100, '98 F-150 and '00 F-150. Great trucks!

Shifter, I got four, and I must say that it takes corners way better. Now I can do those "controlled spin-outs" as opposed to "uncontrolled spin-outs" It rained today, YaHooo!

ATST - our twins continue to parallel each other. I've been running my blackwall studded snows (on steel F150 XL rims) for about a week now. I suspect mine look even worse than yours since I'm only running 2 with the original open white letters on the front with the 6-spoke rims.

Oh well - it's how they work, right?

If I remember right you got the stock size, correct? If so they should look pretty good.
