In car GPS

For christmas I got a Tomtom 125. Which is okay but I want something with a bigger screen and a little more features. What do yall reccomend? My mom got it at circuit city so Im heading up there later on today to get it exchanged, I just dont know which one is good. I dont need maps all over the world, just a nice GPS unit.

I've had about 6 models within the last year and the one I finally stayed with is the Garmin Nuvi 760.
Now that boxing day sales are here, I bet you could pick one up at costco or bestbuy for around the 200 mark.

If you don't need blue-tooth calling, then you can drop down to the 750 for about 50 bucks less.

Good luck

I just ordered a Garmin Nuvi 260W from bestbuy.com - local store was out, but said they "probably" could order one Went online and got it shipped for free + $10 gift card for free all for $189+taxhere

There's a few guys running GPS systems for work and I've found that they prefer (and I) the functionality and looks of the Garmins. This one has the wider 4.3" screen, touch, audible with street names, etc. It's the best bang for your buck for $200-ish imho

I just gat a Garmin 260W as well. The 4.3" screen is nice, but it's still compact enough to use on my Harley when I want to without looking like a big screen TV as I go down the road. It's been great so far.....I picked it up at Best Buy.
