Newsflash for you ditto heads... Ronald Reagan HATED the deficit he actually RAISED taxes at one point to combat it and he CUT spending except defense. There was more to Reaganomics then tax cuts. Cutting taxes with out cutting spending is a recipe for disaster just like the one we have now.
B.S. The war has been a great success. No time in history have we done so much with so little loss. Despite some miss steps.. like in any war. But you cry baby liberals want every thing now and for free. The war is over. It is a police action now. Bush lovers = morons..... good thing I am not a Bush lover then. Bush has done some great things. Like the war on terror. He has screwed up plenty. And every screw up is when he acts liberal. Except for the war, you libs should be kissing his *** in worship. So what do you do? you elect a certified socialist. Now who is really the moron?

Nope, don't think I would ever, could ever, kiss "W's" behind...

As for the "certified socialist"...need I remind you that many of the Republicians voted for him, as well---did they not? The voting #'s indicate that many of Bush's previous followers grew disenchanted not only with "W", but also with the Republican Party, itself.

Or how about this read: The thought of mccain taking the republican party down the same roads as the democrats travel is unbearable. Many people voted for the socialist so we have another jimmy the peanut mind carter so we can get another Reagan. I am happy mccain did not win. Your views are WAY to simplistic.

I disagree--my take was that McCain was too tight with W---too old, and appeared to be out of touch. He simply couldn't shake the wrongs done by the Reps (Bushies) for the last eight years. I honestly believe that the future will judge W to be one of the most inept presidents ever.

And your wrong. Once again I will say.... W acted like liberals and made mistakes. That is what history will fault him for.

History might remember W as "bad intelligence".

W was heavy-handed, lacked true foresight, had horrible decision making skills; add to the mix that he surrounded himself with condescending, arrogant, and egotistical folks who had no grasp of foreign policy skills (hey---how 'bout alienating the entire world!!!), and you come up with one laughable administration.

Not only did was he given bad intelligence, he lacked a great deal of intelligence, as well.

I may not have always agreed with W's pappy, but I have much more respect for him---George, Sr. had integrity, W---well, the less said about that, the better...

I wonder sometimes how the conversations go between W and his dad---what actually is said in private...

Hiistory will fault him for many things he also didn't do. While we do have the best political ideals in the World, it still isn't perfect. Maybe someday we'll figure out how to do this right. Then again, is there ever perfection?

I guess one thing that is still there is this---we still can discuss freely and openly and disagree with not only each other, but the way things are run, as well.
