Bleu Edmondson Band
Bleu Edmondson Band
Probably very few of you have heard of Bleu Edmondson. He's becoming very well known around the Texas Country and the Americana music scenes. He writes most of his music, but his cover of The Echo(Maybe Tonight) is getting a lot of play now. You can hear it if you go to the link below.
His other hits include $50 and a Flask of Crown and one I really like, Last Last Time.
Liston and tell me if you like it at all.

Yeah, that's what got me into the Texas country a few years ago. That junk out of Nashville is ridiculous. I like Tim McGraw, but he's about the only one. I don't count Dwight Yoakum as Nashville. I like his music a lot. Other than that, it's Ryan Bingham, Chris Knight, Hayes Caryl, Ray Wylie, Bruce and Charlie Robison, Willie, Reckless Kelly, Mickey and the Motorcars, Ragweed and a flock of others.

Yep Sonny Liston was a good fighter I liked Clay better....
Strong bands...I like the sound.
The other songs sound better than the first.
Somewhat more like rock and roll than country to my ear.

Yes, Country Rock, Country Blues, Texas Country, Americana, it all kind of blends together.

Do you know Zydeco music from the state to your right?
Sure, and it doesn't have to be from there. There's even some down in Austin and a lot over around Beaumont, TX.
I used to really like Jo'el Sonnier when he was putting out some hits.
Not all Zydeco, but always liked the Neville Bros too. Saw them live once, in Fort Worth.

Ray Wylie Hubbard wrote Up Against the Wall Redneck Mother. Here he is with Jerry Jeff.

Hayes Carll is awesome. Coming to SA Christmas weekend and I am going to miss it since I'll be home. Don't forget Aaron Watson, Bart Crow, Corb Lund (Canadian but opens for Hayes in America and Hayes opens for him in Canada), Cory Morrow, Deryl Dodd, Eli Young, Doug Moreland, Randy Rogers, Fowler, Creager, Robert Earl Keen, Phil Prichett.... I can go on and on.
