I could be wrong but I didn't think the Nascar package was offered in 99.

Your right Daren. The Nascar package was only in 98 to commerate the 50th annerversary of Nascar and Ford trucks. Some of the trucks even have a history. They also had a Sport model in 98 that had many of the same options but not the interior or Roush exhaust.

If its not offered in 99 the how come i payed $150 for it and it was on the sticker. My truck has a yellow stripe and it say nascar on the side of the bed, the tailgate, the headrest of the seats. The truck also has leather wrapped wheel. The truck was made in june of 99. I don't know what the deal is with it. Is not lowered at all because it sits up higher than my dads 97 f-150. I haven't been able to find any info about it. The dealer didn't know anything about. If anybody has any info about it please contact me. thanks.

Question

It should be lowered, have unique black wheels, and tires with yellow lettering. Do you have all of these?

Yours is not the nastruck, it is a add on pkg. but before you think I'm being mean, $150. is a very good price for the side decals and the nascar logo on the seatbacks.
You have a nice truck, so enjoy it

Cooltrucks,

I found the following on http://www.kbb.com/ :

62N NASCAR Pkg. 128.00 150.00
(Pkg. Contents, Requirements & Restrictions Not Yet Available)

I checked Edmunds and Ford sites not info on the NASCAR pkg.

So everybody get off Cooltrucks case, THE MAN has the option (it's just not the full-blown NASCAR version).

PS Welcome aboard Cooltrucks, if you love your truck, you'll love this site!

Yes, there is a 1999 NASCAR......I saw one when I gave my mom a ride to the Ford dealer to pick up her Taurus from its transmission flush... the 99 isn't as extensive as the 98's [no black wheels, etc], but there were several on the lot.

To answer your question, Cooltrucks, as near as I can see, the 99 NASCAR package is mostly a 99 F-150 Sport with a few trim goodies, and a different exhaust tip. Nice looking trucks, though...

rmarrietta: I wasn't "on" cooltrucks case, I just noticed that people were simply confusing the Nastruck with the Nascar pkg. thats all. We haven't seen many of these, so it is indeed unique, at least to me. And I would gladly have paid $150 for it.

I too have seen this NASCAR pkg on a bright red truck at my dealer, look's real good. I believe it is to advertise Ford trucks as the official truck of NASCAR. Whatever the reason I would have considered it had I known about it.

cooltrucks,
I realize that you probably have all the information you need, but the 1999 Nascar Edition is just a graphics package that replaces the Sport package decals, etc. I've got the Sport and the dealer I bought mine at had two Nascar editions on the lot. One a white supercab with a 4.6, the other a red regular cab with a 5.4. They are not the same as the 1998 Nascar Edition which included different wheels, yellow outlined letters, and other various performance items. The 1999 is just a looks package and can be had in any combination that the Sport package comes in. Hope this helps.

Well Dodge is the offical truck of the Carolina Panthers.
I dunno but I think a Nascar truck is more appealing to me than a "Panthers" truck.
Dodge even has a Panthers special edition.
