Talking Truck suddenly quicker?

Can it be? It seems as though my '97 4.6L is suddenly a little quicker at 41,000 miles. Is there any reason this might happen? Some weird breakin, everything loosening up? I know it is not my imagination and I have not changed anything, no mods whatsoever!

Yeah Man. I noticed the same thing when I had my 97 F-150 4.6L around the 40k to 50k mile mark. But when I got above 60k it felt like it was slowly losing power. Come to think of it, thats about the time I was forced to switch to Amoco (towns only gas station switched from Shell to Amoco)gasoline. That could have been the culprit.

Roll Tide Baby!!! Dubose stays...Kicker goes!!

I'll tell you what Texaskid, most of the rocket scientists I work with could care less about vehicles. A good percentage are dorks, driving '89 Plymouths that haven't been washed in a while. Not all of them, but a lot are real goobers! I would welcome a midnight mod makeover, however!
