What are your thoughts on B&D power tools? The local Lowes has this combo on sale for $59. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...BFK&lpage=none
Looks like a pretty good deal.
Sears has the Craftsman kit like it in 19v for $79. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...1780000P?mv=rr
Which would you buy?

were using a ryobi drill now. not to many craftsman anymore every craftsman drill we have had just doesn't seem to last to long. we only by craftsman hand tools, but their battery power tools just don't impress me.
If you only use them once each year, they may last you your lifetime.
Or go to a reman tool center. Each reman tool is tested prior to shipment. It will work & work well, and save you some coin.

both set ups have only one battery, so there is going to be increased cost to get a second battery. The price I saw on the B&D waqs $159.00.
As was already said for home use either would be good, for heavier duty I use Milwalkie. I have a light duty B&D cordless drill ( 14 volt) that has done light duty for 4 years now. I love it but most times I go with the 110 volt.

Usually the biggest issue with cordless power tools is the batteries. And they can be as expensive as the tool with a battery. For this reason I use nothing but Ridgid tools. The batteries are warranted forever. Have a problem with one- sent it back and they send you a new one, just that easy. I use one a lot and so far have had the best luck with the Ridgid. The Craftsman, B&D, DeWalt and Ryobi use the same motor by Johnson. It's a good motor and should last a long time....up until the batteries die.

Yea, its $159 online, but local it is $59. Figure I might as well get it while on sale. For 60 bucks, if it craps out in a few years, I figure I got my money worth. Since you can't even get a drill at that price from the bigger names.
That, or, a few months before the warranty expires, attempt to mix up some sheetrock. Tends to always burn them up.
