Thanks for the link. I allways had my trucks rustproofed in the past. Living in the snow belt of Lake Michigan we get about 100" a year. I don't want to guess how much salt they dump on our roads. Any way Iwas told by my dealer that rustproofing was not needed. I was a little uneasy driving my new truck in all the salt slop. After reading all the testing and metal treatment the factory has done. It seems Ford has covered this issue for those of us in the "rust belt".
