Red face Y2K and F150online compatibility.

Ok what are we going to do when our computers won't boot up on 1/1/2000?
Not getting my F150online fix, now that to me is the scariest fear of Y2K.

Forget about your computers. What about this website? It uses so much embedded COBOL to track eveyone's movements and I have been so busy with the preparing the Digital Marketplace for the Holidays that I completely forgot to test remediate. Aarrrghhh!!!!!

F150Europe, I may be wrong but, I think all the posts are marked with Eastern Standard Time. So, you may have to wait until 6am over there to have a shot at posting first in the next Century. I'm not even going to try to get in a New Years post because I have a pretty good idea what kind of condition I'll be in. It would never work. I'd be talking into my mouse like Mr. Scott in that Star Trek movie.

Raoul,

Your absolutely right about that.
I am not making a game out of it,though.
But I do post in the New Millennium.
Let you all know what 'major catastrophies'
will happen here.

We had a little foretaste last evening. There was a powerfailure for over an hour.

Here's the plan when the lights go out, the water dries up, the market crashes, and every lightpost has a shovie imbedded in it...
We all meet at Steve's in Atlanta, retitle him from Webmaster to the Grand Exalted
One(fifty). Divide up into colonies by type;
lightnings,superduties,supercabs,4x4's,etc. We seek out and asymalate others into our sect or force them to drive a dodge with a F150online.com sticker on it. We put a superchip in every one's truck, make every mod. street legal in every colony.
Our members in the Philipines and the Netherlands will give us a head start. We hord fuel, oil, wax, etc. enroute to the
rendezvous point. Adopt the owners manual as our bible (old testement), write a constitution(new testment{gospel}) along with the Acts of the Charter Members, etc.
Every F150 birthplace (manufacturing plant) will become holy ground and an annual pilgramage roadtrip will be mandatory.

Cool

I excel at sounding like an idiot.
I have knack for saying something and then thinking about it.

I have to admit I'm more gun shy since we can't delete our own posts anymore.
