I am lookin into new trucks and this one caught my eye (though I really kinda want black). I am not much on the seats or the chrome mirrors, but I figure a few of my custom touches and has good potential. Should I just hold out and get a black 09 instead?

If you're going to buy a 250 why don't you go for new? I'm not sure what dealerships are like where you live but in my area they're marking the new ones down by thousands and thousands of dollars.

I was tempted to get a diesel FX4 but the thought of not having a truck payment talked me out of it. It was tempting though because of how much off sticker they were offering.

 

This is new. It's a converison truck. Also negotiating price isn't a big deal siince I get it for below dealer invoice because of bein an employee.

 

If it's new and you could get a deal then why not? Those trucks are so badass.

My brother in law used to have one. He sold it and bought a Tacoma because of mileage. He kept the Toyota for just about a year and sold it to buy a one ton Chevy diesel 4x4.

The Chevy is loaded out but to this day he wishes he would have gone the Ford route.

I like it, just like u said put some of your custome touches to it and will look bad a$$ when ur done with yet, to me white trucks look nice lifted

 

i would buy a stock f250 4x4 and build it exactly how i want it. not sure how it is where you live, but 80% of lifted trucks here in houston are bought from the dealer like that. its annoying to see the same trucks with the same rims and tires and nerf bars.

 

it looks good but i would buy one stock and then do the mods i like

I think I will probably get a stock one since I really want black and I don't care for the seats. Just kind of liked it cause I would be able to leave it alone. Atleast for a little while.
