Pet mess?
OK what is going on here my cursor will intermittently say "pet mess" on this site.
Anyone else have this happen?
It follow the mouse pointer like the wheel does on Andthensometoo's site.
I think it has something to do with the cosmic cursor thing.

54, Your pets are trying to tell you that you've been on the computer too long and haven't attended to their needs in a timely maner.
I take breaks and have NO pet mess!
btw the really cool wheel icon doesn't "follow" the mouse pointer as you say, it IS THE POINTER!

Yup... It's happening to me too. Does anybody know how to disable it? I unwittingly installed it on my system when I went to a site with this feature. Now, I'd like to get rid of it because on this site, I find it very annoying.
OK guys when you go to a site (like mine) that has this, once it's "on" if you go to another site with it, it will automaticlly be turned on. Did you see the "law" one that is also sometimes here?
Now here is the fix: While on a site that has this, "right click" you mouse and a window will pop up. It will give you the option of reverting back to your own coursor. Look for the option "set desktop coursor" and go from there. That's it!

I was wondering who infected me with that pet mess. It took me 3 hours to clean that mess out of my interior.
I had to use a pooper scooper, and then Lysol the hell out of the interior.

The pointer thing is all because of the banner ads, whenever it changes, you'll notice there is a corresponding banner to the pointer. As much money as Steve gets from advertising, I think changing the mouse pointer in my browser is a no-no. I would hope that Steve would talk to the banner ad company and see what can be done about changing my pointer. It is rather annoying...

Well, I tried right clicking and chose, set to original pointer. I still had the Pokemon cursor.
Ended up going to Start, Settings, Control Panel, double clicked on Add/Remove Programs and selected "Comet Cursor" and removed it.
Rebooted and now... No more Pet Mess or Pokemon!
