Cool Hobbies, Interests, talents and other member trivia.

I was wondering if anyone has any?

Hobbies, I have none really

Interests, anything car related, fixing up the old GMC, real estate (I am addicted), I have also always wanted to learn to play piano.

Talents, I know how to clog (dance) and I speak Spanish fairly well.

I also have a 7 month old Bassett Hound named "Flash" that replaced my 15 year old named "Peaches" that died in August

Anyone know of a really good self teaching piano course? I know the basics already. Am I better off taking lessons?

Seacrow,

I can't sing, can't dance, and probably couldn't carry a tune in a bucket if it had a lid on it! But, I do enjoy driving my truck, building and repairing computers, pistol shooting, and reading posts on F-150 Online!

My dog is also named Flash! He's a border Collie, and probably lives up to his name a little more than your new pup! He's kinda like an F-150 on Nitro!

With the help of this site, I hope to enjoy my truck even more through the information I gain here! Just wish I had the money for all the toys I'd like to have!

my hobby is drawing and painting, mostly flowers in charcoal. I drew the plans for our home and then built it. Enjoyed that too. Can't sing, can't play anything except the invisible stuff. I really enjoy my truck and sometimes will just go for a drive for the heck of it.

jgorka: you should really give your wife a medal for being able to get in and out of the truck in an evening gown. I've done it, but it sure wasn't gracefull.

I'm in to "fabrication"
Stories: reading or writing them.
building stuff: Stuff that I want, but can't find to buy. (I'm lazy, but determined) I built a dresser because I didn't like the color of the styles I liked or the style of the colors I liked. I built a rabbit cage when I had them. It was indestructable, when the time came to remove it, it was too heavy to lift and too well built to take apart, so I had to use a chain saw. I hand stained and trimmed my kitchen with real wood and made shelves to match the cupboards, shaping everything to fit agianst the slightly uneven walls.
Cooking: No recipies or measuring cups, I just throw stuff in there. I also make and used to sell chocolates. I still have the molds including some x-rated ones. I did custom wedding cakes too.
Sewing: I make what ever I want with out a pattern. I was Xena one year for halloween. Only a few saw those pics! Most people thought I rented it!
Last winter I got so sick and tired of being cold that I made my own "Super Duper" Coat! Two layers of wool that goes all the way down to my knees. (it doubles as a blanket lol) I never could figure out why the coat makers make winter coats that stop at the waist. Whats up with that, our butts aren't suppoed to get cold?
Computers: I rebuilt one and modified another.
Excersize: Roller blading and Weight lifting and Martial arts. I even had to fabricate a bracket on my "Total" gym to hold more weight, because this machine uses your body weight.
My Truck: well I'm always working on it!
I can't dance or play the piano, but I probably have a chance at learning the piano!!

"Moonlight Blue" 98 F150 SC XLT 2WD 4.6, 3.55 LS Tow Pkg. SUPERCHIP, K&N Airbox mod. w/ "Cool" intake, Mobil One Oil, Bosch +4's. Lund Fastback, Lighted visor, Runninng Boards, Crome Taillight covers, Polished Steel Fenderwell Moldings, Smoked Bug and Rain guards, Shelf-it, Carpet dash cover, Red Wings license plate in front, Red Wings license plate frame in back, Little Detroit Viper hanging from mirror, Oh yeah, and one "Blacked-out" grill.
Gonna get my Bed rails back on, Finally!
Couldn't find the right Polished steel design, so once I modify the powercoated ones I just bought, I will paint them.
Q: who wants my chrome ones? Price:cost of shipping or gas and maybe lunch if you live in S/E MI.

Well I'm addicted to messing with my truck. My wife even calls it "The Big Red *****". Cause I play with it so much!! LOL I hunt a lot (Deer, sqirrel) I golf too. For some reason My wife hates it when I do any of these things. She hates me being out without her. I tried to get her to go hunting, excuse "Too Dangerous" She's just chicken. Golf- Boring to her. Truck- Rather see me spend that $$$ on her. Oh well I guess I'll just play with myself. LOL

Dog- English Bulldog named "Winston". Was given to me free but I'm spent a butt load on vet bills. Minor stuff luckly. Great dogs, as long as you dont expect them to do anything special.

well, I'm in school so i don't have alot of time for hobbies, but I do like to:

--Drive around in my truck, or anything...i just love to drive
--putting model cars together(I like to customize them)
--drawing...I attempt to design new cars, but they all resemble Mustangs, go figure...
--collecting NASCAR memorbilia(especially diecast models...it's sort of a fetish i think)
--I also try to spend as much time with my friends as i can...if I learned anything after high school(it would have to be after, cause I sure didn't learn anything while I was in it)is that things change very quickly...
--playing video games...I'm probably a little old for that, but it's fun...I have an addiction to racing games, the more realistic the better...

Wow, when I write it out I do a lot more than I thought...
