Thumbs up ford fans to the rescue?

I just can't let this one go bye. I also frequent another board at pickuptruck.com and they have a thread about the 5.4 vs 5.3 . The only respondents so far have all been Chevy owners talking about smoking Fords. I do not own the 5.4 and cannot jump in on this topic. But I am posting this so maybe a few 5.4 owners can defend their engine on the forum.

I like to go there to read some of the other points of view, it seems to be a pretty hard core chevy base of respondents.

Red face

I just posted a responce in that board. I raced a 5.3 the other day. He beet me but just by 3/4 of a truck length. When we got to the next light he opened his window, and started to give me a hard time about my 5.4 in my Ford.
When I told him I only had a 4.6 you should have seen the look on his face.He didn't belive me so we pulled into a parking lot, when I opened up my hood, and he Saw the WMS Velocity tube, and he heard the Bassani Exhaust, he was dumbfounded.
He asked me if they made a velocity tube for his truck. I told him all WMS does is make Ford accesories. I told him where to get a Bassani exhaust.
Now because of my little 4.6 he is going to go out and buy a new exhaust and a superchip

Man, those Chevy owners are so much fun to play with I know! I know! We don't want them here causing trouble so I didn't taunt them too much! Just having fun!

54, the only bad thing about that is that you will get chevy owners over here too, starting flame.

Ok MJordan,

You got your wish. I went out and honestly reported real numbers and poked a bit of fun (w/o being offensive, at least I think so) at the Shovie boys and thier bowtie brigade. The real fireworks should start sometime soon.

Great job all. I frequent that site because of the lack of Ford people. I try to answer all questions I can and also direct the ford guys here.

Thanks for the help
