OK, I kinda lost interest in the 4th season, but always wondered if they made it to earth, or if the series woudl continue. They kept moving the time, having short seasons, by the time it got started there was season finales- so I stopped watching.

Did they ever make it to earth?

The last thing I saw, Cheif Tyrol, Starbuck's husband, the President's "sexy/sultry" aide (who was gettign tagged regulary by Gius Baltar), and the XO all believed they were Cylons.

Whatever happened? Is this show gone permanently?

I went from loving it, to not being able to watch it anymore- but, still wonder occasionally- what happened...

 

They made it one episode, Earth was in ruins (of course). Haven't bother to check on it since.

Well, they lasted longer than the original BSG, which came and went in one season.

 

They had planned for the series to end this season. There was a mid season finale months back where, yes, they made it to earth, and no, no one knows wtf happened to earth. The show resumes for another 10 episodes Jan. 16, and after those 10 episodes, short of maybe a mini-series series finale, the show will be over.
