I like the vette pipes I put on this truck. Low rumbleing sound, They also don't sound in pain when you get on it. Once on the highway and up to speed they aren't very loud, but when you get on it , it sounds great.
They are kind off dirty in the picture, it had been raining that day. I hope someday do make some headers and collecters to go in front of them.

They are a corvette pipe style that were on some 70's models.

Basically they are 55" long glass packs. But they sound so sweet.

Magnaflows all the way. I had a flow on my '99 for about two months and took it off as soon as I could. I sounded like every other F-150 out there with an exhaust. Went to Maganaflow and havn't looked back and never will. I've run three diffrent types of there mufflers ranging from the Magnapacks on the must ang I had which would wake the dead and scare little children, to the more suddle only have a nice grunt when getting on it. Wish I knew what the other two models were. One was a big straight thru design with a SI/DO and the others were when I did a true dual on my '02 Screw, those mufflers were your smaller ones. I'd say Magnaflow all the way!!!! You wont be disappointed.

Also look a Smithy's Mufflers....kind of hard to come by but I have heard a couple and they are nice.

i got the magnaflow today and it is totally different from the flowmasters..... IMO its not great, but its not bad either..... id still take flowmasters over magnaflow, but im gonna hang onto these for while i already got em and paid for em awhile and see if they grow on me.....

and today i also got the rear lowered 2 inches and oh man is that a difference, 2 inches is a lot more than i thought so i gotta let that grow on me too lol,

and tomorrow im gonna start with the blacking out proccess, if anyones got some black heads/tails/3rd brakelights they dont want or need anymore just let me know...

Magnaflow sounds alright there just to quiet for me. So I went with true duals straights with an x-pipe turned out lightning style. I love the sound, and I like it loud. There are clips in my sig if you want to check it out.

Give the muffler approx 500 to 800 miles to allow the packing to break in and the tone should increase.

It will get louder, but still not loud enough for me. Plus I like the tone of straights better, don't get me wrong I like the maggy sound I just don't think it fits with a truck.
