Wink F150 Commercials

Has anyone ever bought a vehicle based on a TV commercial?
I never have and fail to see why they spend more money on advertising.
If they spent that money making things like tachs standard they would IMHO sell more trucks.

I agree, but I saw a cool magazine ad for F-150. It said "You won't find a better made truck, even under a rock" Something like that. Well, I thought it was funny anyway. Wish I had some friends w/Chevies so I could share the humor.

If they cut out the advertising, it would throw a million people out of work and start a recession. Those people get a lot of money for that stuff. Smirk.

JA Stang86:
That, sir is advertising at it's best!
Attack the competition (the enemy) at it's strongest point and kill it.
Was that a local ad by the way? I might like to contact the author to do something for my HobbyTown USA store.
