what program do you use for graphical work?

ram is pretty important.. 512MB is about the minimum I would run these days. more is always nice but don't buy a new card just because it has more ram. the 9600gt only has 64 stream processors... a 8800gt or 9800gt has 112 that right there is a big jump. step it up to the 9800gtx's 128 streams and you have a card with overr 2 times the texture fill rate.... the memory bandwith is better thanks to ram thats clocked faster... sinceGTAIV has SLI issues your gonna want a pretty good single card. I'd go with the 9800gtx+ if you can.. the 9800gtx is good... musch better than a single 9600gt... which Im afraid to say might be toast

yup, best bang for your buck right there... only three cards in nvidias lineup are better and thats the 9800GX2(expensive POS) GTX260 or GTX280

Ok, one more thing . I need a CPU fan for the Q6700. Mind finding one? I'm thinking of this one.

or asus Siglent Knight ii


this is ONE thing you should NOT skimp on
