Most Overpriced Vehicle
I've only driven it once. I got on it in 1st and was not prepared to shift so quickly, was a little embarassed as I was the experienced drag racer(supposedly, and had raced a Falcon with 5.11 gears and a top loader 4 speed where you come off the line grabbing second gear) and was caught by surprise. I was over 100 mph at the top of 3rd and still had 3 gears. I got up to 120 and eased off. It does handle very well. Like on a slot track as you said.
Just about any NEW, off the showroom floor vehicle these days..... Back in the day, you could get any 1970 muscle car of your choice, off the showroom floor, for around $5 grand.... Sure, ave wage for that time was probably under $12 grand a year, but still!!
I ain't making 10 times that to see 10 times the vehicle cost of now...
I had to scrape and adjust to buy my USED 1997 F150 for $17 grand in 2001 and I still had to make payments on it!! I'm payment free and still have the F150, so somethings going right! Still can't bring myself to buy a NEW vehicle, even now.....

For what you get, I'd say any of the "premium" pick-ups or SUV's like the Mark LT's or Escalades. For a $25,000 - $30,000 premium, all you really get are marginally useful gadgets and fancy dashboard overlays that don't appear on their base model counterparts. To me, the only thing anyone driving around in one of these rigs is saying is, "Look at me -- I'm a complete idiot with way too much money (or way too high of monthly payments) on my hands!"

I got my 97 in 98 for 17,800. But I'm still driving it, and when the wheels fell off, I duct taped them back on.

If interested please PM me

yes, i agree, but look at the price increase between a cadillac escalade and a gmc denali yukon or even a fully loaded yukon/tahoe, the price difference is not terrible, so that over price is caused by the over price in the gmc/chevy line up
a z71 tahoe with leather is about 50-51k.
a escalade is about 56-60k with that big a$$ motor
