Talking It's finally here!

For those of y'all that know me pretty well I've been talking about getting a winch ever since I first became a member. And y'all have had to put up with listening to me talk about it, and complain on how it's here, but it's still not mounted. Well no more, cause last night the mounting kit came and the winch got put on. I figured I would mention it because a few people on here have been askin about it. Well here is some pics taken just minutes ago:

Wink

Don't think that this means that I have to go get my truck stuck so that you can pull it out.

Is it hooked up to the battery yet??

Thanks, no it's not hooked up yet. Gonna do that Monday, gonna be some work. I had to hook it to a car battery to reel it in, and plus to make sure that it worked, and it did.
Fast, the winch is 8000lb.

Mudder: I like it! You might consider getting a heavier Alternator, I had a friend who recommended that to a friend in a Chevy...

Seacrow,
I'm sure it could pull doors off for ya, if not then that's one hell of a door.

If ya got a 4x4 then it seems like a winch is a must, plus they look cool.

Well, for one thing it's there if I need it, which I know if it ever starts to rain here again I will. But when I trim the rubber out of the air dam you will be able to see it better. But one good thing that comes out of it being hidden is that weather can't affect it, and people can't mess with it. Bottom line, I've always wanted a winch, now I got it, now I can make a buck or two pullin Chevies and Dodges out of the mud.
