Post Has anyone else noticed...?

I noticed this the other day and it surprised me. If you look at the three climate control *****, the selector on the **** illuminates. Thus when you drive at night you can see what position the **** is in. However, look to the other side of the steering wheel at the headlight switch. Looks just like the climate control *****, has the little indicator so you can see the setting, but it is not illuminated. Now I'm not really complaining, I am smart enough to tell what setting my lights are in without having to look. But I was just surprised that Ford could miss such a thing. Or was that done on purpose? Anyone else notice this?

Oh. Thanks a lot. Now I gotta jump in the truck tonight just to look at another switch in the dark. I just did that the other week when somebody mentioned that the remote mirror switch on the Expi was illuminated, but not the one on our trucks.

No Tina I do not have too much time on my hands. This is just something that caught my attention the other day when I was driving at night. I seem to be doing a lot more of that lately (driving at night) thanks to the time change.

Freezer, you're light switch should always be in the off position as is mine, since we are both BlueBloods driving Lariats. There is a little yellow dot over the timer wheel of our prestigious Autolamp system iluminated when active.

Of course it could be we could have this feature because we are too dumb to know when to turn our lights on.

Sometimes the lights are on but, nobody's home.

I never noticed that the climate ones were illuminated. if you really think about it, without actually seeing the little graphic icons for the vent settings I couldn't tell you regardless of the little light. Are the icons illuminated as well?

While were nagging, why the hell did the put the stupid windshield washer spray nozzles on the HOOD. Try waxing around those things sometime. There is 6" of plastic cowl cover that would do fine.

We're coming dangerously close to another "fuel door open light" episode. As for people with too much time on their hands, they're all busy discussing hazy bugshields.

C'mon Andthensometoo, you are taking unfair advantage of us guys...you know we can't compete when it comes to noticing things like hairstyles, nail polish/lipstick color, etc. I think it's genetic or something....Besides, that new hairstyle wasn't done for our benefit anyway, was it? We do pretty good on other things though like rebuilding motors, brake jobs, esoteric sports information, fishing/hunting, gross-outs, etc.
Or so it seems to me.

Raoul, I do have the Autolamp, but I rarely use it simply because I like to also use my fog lamps.

Sorry Dun, sometimes in life things like that just stick.
