Exclamation Texas Edition

I wonder if Ford will ever produce a Texas Edition pickup that does NOT pay homage to a private business. I would love to see a truck with Texas themed accents. I really do not care to buy a rolling advertisement for a ranch that only represents a small portion of our great state.

They did. Ford made the Amarillo Edition SuperDuty for a couple of years.

There is a trim package called the Texas Edition. The same trim package is also called the Oklahoma Edition. They have different fender badges. This is just a trim package and special paint scheme, not the unique vehicle as is the King Ranch.

No offense taken. Even though I had a Chrome Yellow Splash I am not a big fan of yellow and there was a hole crap load of it on the Amarillo Edition.

I am not I misread your post. This is what I get for reading and typing while on the phone at work. I had the four banger in mine and didnt have enough oomph for me after driving a V8 for a few years but it was a great truck none the less.

They have been making them for years. The King Ranch is as Texas a truck as you can get.

But, the OP was asking about those other than the King Ranch. He seemed to have a problem with the ranch itself.
