Freakin' GARBAGE! Just the kind of trash I was talking about in my earlier response.

Any time the main theme of a song is someone's body part(s), you can bet it's junk. I mean seriously....where is the talent?

Right on brutha! KILLER tunes on that record for sure. I listened to it on the way in to work today.

Although....I'm not quite sure what the deal was with their apparent fixation on chemistry....or more specifically pharmacology. Eh...I guess I can see their fixation on pharmacology....

Oldies from the 50's,60's and 70's mostly. Also like the old country music from the same era. Also have a lot of good old New Orleans rock and roll, Fats Domino, Ernie K Doe the Neville Brother's. Also for you younger guys check out The Cisco Kid and Low Rider by War on you-tube. They even show the opening scenes from Cheech & Chongs Up in Smoke. Probably one of the funniest 15 minutes of any movie ever. These clips are from the early 70's.

Oops! Sorry for the rant, but I'm such a fan/student of music, it just kills me when these hacks get crazy-paid for their garbage.
x10000000. Rap isnt even music. A buncha goofy dudes with their pants at their knees, high as *****, saying a buncha giberish, with a computerized beat in the background. Music? i think not.

I listen to Metal, Country, and Classic Rock. REAL music.

You guys hit the nail on the head...
Rap is horrible, i don't see how it can be labeled as music. I mean where are instruments...drums..guitars...etc, and where is the talent???? It's nowhere to be found. Just a bunch of guys talking about ****s and jewelry...

What amazes me is how this garbage is everywhere now a days, i just don't get the obsession with this "so called music". Pull up your pants, take off all the jewelry, get the gold off your teeth, drop the ebonics and take a course in english, and pick up a damn instrument and try making some real music...

All this new pop rock radio stuff gets a little sickening as well. But i do like the classic rock of course (which is constantly on the radio) can't be a Metal head and not appreciate classic rock.

Metal is as real as it gets IMHO, even the crazy heavy stuff, lots of blazing fast guitars and drums, aggression, etc (which i'm personally a huge fan of). It takes a lot of talent to play an instrument, and to play them the way a lot of these Metal bands do is just mind blowing.

My number one is definetly the underground Metal scene, i absolutely love it, stuff that for the most part would never see the light of day on the radio...

Ok, enough typing and more drinking...

OK fellas. Since it looks like we have at least a couple of Metal Heads on here, I'll post what our band has been up to lately. Now none of these are finished or "polished", but you get the idea...keep in mind, I'm playing one of the guitars and performing the "vocals" on the tracks that have vocals.

On the second link, go down to the sample titled "inside"...make sure you're clear of the following when you listen:

your boss
traffic
fine china
power tools
small children
