F150 Owners letter to Senators & Reps.

Dear Senator Kyl;
Please do not support the automaker bailout with tax payer money. Their arrogance and disregard for their customer base is beyond disgraceful. I am an owner of a recent F150 Ford with the $4000 spark plug issue, Ford has refused repeatedly to service their loyal customer base and destroyed their own business. Please read the article and question their executives about it. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/autom...ord_spark.html
GM and Chrysler are similar. That is why consumers buy Japanese. A bailout would reward failure & hubris. Thank you.

well said. I hope they take into consideration, that costumer satisfaction, has a lot to do with, how an auto business will do in the economy. If nobody is satisfied, why should they throw money into business that will probably fail in the future because their ignorance to their buyers problems. If they cant even admit fault in a warranty case, how are things going to look for them in the future?

Not attacking you, but by not complaining you would be adding to the demise of the US as we know it. Consumers have a right to be dissatisfied with the quality of products they purchase.

I, personally, have not taken issue with my F-150. However, if I had, I know I would be at the top of the list in complaining about Ford, or any other company, if they refuse to service what is to be considered a factory issue.

On another note, the same exists for foriegn made cars. I had a brand new Lexus SUV with a faulty starter. The dealership made no effort to correct the issue without charging me for labor and parts. In the end, I had to take my complaint well above the dealership to get anything done about it.

by telling congress not to bail out the auto industry our American car companies are going to go under. you know how many jobs thats going to destroy?

I have no problem with people being angry with faulty product, that's fine. If the company won't fix it, keep pressing, or take them to court.

But, just because you're angry that you had a faulty product, don't take it out on hundreds of thousands of fellow countrymen, it's really common sense.
