I have a Cobra "19 Ultra II". Cost: $40. Good CB, I enjoy it. Got the hook-up for PA horn, too.

Thanks GMC305, I was lookin at the Cobra website today and I saw one that I liked. I'd like to get one that has weather channels on it too. I'm probably gonna go for a Cobra, but I just wanted to see what else was out there, or if anybody else had a CB that they might wanna tell about.

Thanks again.

The cobra 29ltd classic is the best in my view, you can even get one with weather, truck stops have em, used to have one in another truck...get dual anttenaes or a Wilson 1000.

I finally got a good scanner. I rode with a guy one time that had a weather CB in his Pete, He recomended a good antenna...otherwise the NOAA repeaters will collide or something to that affect.

Oh ya and, I used to have a amplifier in my truck and I could talk to a friend 24 miles north, on my drive way. Could help that it is on a hill...I think Amps are illegal. But only if you get caught.

Pastmaster,

Yep, I'd like to get one that has weather channels, saw one that had seven and an instant bad weather alert, pretty cool.
