Question What is your preferred method of getting new posts?

I was just wondering how you guys normally access this message board.

Because I rarely miss a day I usually click on "today's active topics" and select the topics that interest me.

What about you guys that don't get a chance to visit everyday. Do you use the little light bulbs to see what you haven't read. I missed a few days a while back and played hell "catching back up" with those stinkin little light bulbs.

I try to look at the dates. Then just access the days that I missed.

Then I try the days...

Lightbulb

The only thing I don't like about "todays active topics" is it doesn't cover late last nights.

My light bulbs are always lit. I usually check in 2 to 3 times a day, and just note the date/time I left off at the time before and go up.

Take care,

Upgrade to IE5.0 and that will fix the lightbulb problem.

54regcab, don't you mean downgrade to IE 5.0?

Cool

The light bulbs don't work if you "sneak in the side door" meaning go right to the board or thread of your choice (by bookmarking) instead of starting at the site's home page and then clicking on "message Boards".
I too, check the dates first, and then the times, if I've already been on that day.

I pretty much check everything out except a few, would you believe I've never been inside the radio threads or the audio ones.
Been on here for 9 months and I've never been in there, I guess I'll just let it remain a mystery.

It's just as well Mudder. There's nothing in there but dirty pictures.

Hey mudder, you didn't have to look twice!

(If anyone couldn't get into Audio it was because mudder was doing speed search through the last year.)

My light bulbs are faulty. They work correctly when I first come to the board but, if I go into a topic sometimes when I go back to the main board screen, the bulbs are off. Sometimes this happens because my 'Last Access' date/time stamp is reset. Sometimes I think it is because Steve is using inferior bulbs.
