Well, fisherman have been known to tell some pretty tall tales. Maybe he's confusing his truck with an old fishing trip!

As far as the arm rests and seat belt placement go... were these things not obvious when he first looked at the truck? If he thought they were going to be this big of an deal down the road, why buy it in the first place. The brother has some 'issues' no guestion... but I doubt they have anything to do with his truck.

Wow..someone really hates the new Ford F-150s to have a web site like that!
I, honestly, do not care for the old square body style F-150s. Gas mileage is no big deal to me...and the new Triton engines are great!
And I agree..who rides in the back of their own trucks?? hahaha. If you want a car like back seat..buy a car.
Also...a person can easily sit in the middle with no problems from the seat belt fastener. Simply don't sit on the seat belt fastener and you will not have any problems.

GEEEEZ! What a waste of server space!

Yep, he definitely has some issues. Thanks Pastmaster, I won't be planning on a lift anytime soon, maybe in a couple years.

I guess that I don't seriously count because I don't own a newer F-series truck, but I think that the new F-150's are doing a good job replacing the old trucks.(Obviously they are because of the F-150 being the #1 truck for 22 years.) I know that this is America, and everyone has a chance to voice their opinion, but why whine about the truck? If you don't like it, get another truck!!!! Jeeez, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. I know several people who complain about the 97's, and they either got a chevy or a dodge, and most of the time got another F-150 and you don't hear a complaint any longer. As for everything, their are always bugs in something that is new. As I see it, the trucks are only getting better....

The guy went from a 5.8 to a 4.6, what did he expect? He tried to save a couple bucks and didn't get the 5.4, and now he's bitching about his own screw-up.

I do agree with the center arm rest. Everytime I have paperwork in the front seat and have the arm rest down, it ends up in the back seat.

I too don't see why he should b*tch about it now.
In Miami, Ok, there is a 97 F150 reg cab styleside (prairie gold or whatever that tannish color is) parked out in a field along I-44. It has a big sign in the bed reading "Mos Henderson [dealer I guess], 97 F150 16,000 miles, Ford LEMON". That is a waste of space as well. That guy has atleast $18,000 sitting out in his pasture to rot. Sell it, trade it in, or have warranty work done on it! I understand that he is trying to make Ford look bad but all he is really doing is making himself look like an idiot for keeping it.

he's just a bitter bob, ignore the old fart. He purchased the vehicle WITHOUT a test drive...if he has any complaints they should all refer to his lack of a test drive, not about the power of towing with a 4.6

there was a whole thread about this guy a couple weeks ago, a member actually exchanged emails with the loser..was funny to read tho! https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000036.html
enjoy!

I'd have to cross the entire state of Kansas. About a 6-7 hour drive. Gotta work this weekend. Thanks for the invitation.
