I noticed in my wife's new Expedition that the control **** for the power mirror adjustment is backlit at night, yet the one in my '98 F150 isn't, and I don't think it ever has. Is this standard or do I have a burned out bulb behind my ****? Anyone else's truck...does the **** light up or no?

It would be nice to actually see the **** at night vs. feel around for it while being blinded by some slob with his brights on behind me.

Mine isnt lit either, must be just on the Expiditions, and maybe a Lariet thing....I dont change my mirrors to much anyway so it doesnt bother me....Dave

It's not a Lariat thing. Just checked mine, windows and lock switches light up but not the mirror adjustment switch.
