i would have paid that extra money to have it 4x4. dont get me wrong i love my truck its my daily driver (college student) the only times i wish i had 4x4 is in the winter and summers when i go to my families/friends ranches in mexico. ive never been stuck and i do have to go through some rough ranch roads some times. the longest is 9 straight hours of ranch road close to the mexican border, we cut across the sierra of couahuila mexico to get to my roomates ranch thats across from big bend national park in texas and it did just fine. i had a tough time getting back though because it snowed and the roads were cr@p i was sliding everywhere but steady driving did it. even though i had to gas up about half the way luckily we always take extra gas cause if you run out your out of luck no gas stations at all. well sorry for the long post but thats probably what i wouldve done!

I am upgrading to a larger truck right now because my F150 isnt cutting it. My wife and I are looking at buying a camper and I will be over weight with the campers we are looking at. Dont get me wrong in the two years that I have owned the truck I have had no problems with it but it just isnt heavy enought for what I want to do with it so I am upgrading to a diesel F350.

If not my F-150, then another ford truck. Probably with the 6.0 turbo diesel.

I wish that I would have bought a F250/350. But I also bought the truck on a whim. I saw it in the paper and it had all the options that I wanted, had a clean carfax and oasis report and it was priced over 4K less than all the other trucks around at the time so I bought it.

I woulda gotten the F-250 I was looking at at the same time...04 red xlt sport scab with a V10 3.73's. My dad has the same truck, gets better mileage than mine, has tons more power and has 192k on it with minimal issues...hasnt even done a tranny yet. More than I can say for mine with 67k

I'd have gotten the same thing. I feel like I got a good deal...and so far I'm pleased with the truck.

Yeah I'm happy with the truck and absolutly no buyers remorse after the purchase. The only thing I want to change is the bumpers I want PTM's instead of chrome.
