I found out soon enough that it was actually ice..lol All I did was touch the gas and my rear end started fishtailing....yikes!

So, now I know why everyone is crawling. I'm on the highway for maybe a couple of miles and this cab about 3 cars in front fishtails and does a 180 into the other lane (he didn't hit anyone) and as he swings around the car then goes head on into the guard rail, then continues to finish the spin eventually facing the proper direction again. He just kept going as if nothing had happened..LOL It was comical.

Good thing he was driving a Crown Vic.

Black ice!
Thats about all we get here in Arkansas. When it snows here in the southern part, it's like a Holiday to us

Yeah, Barrie is getting hammered ... LOL

JBMX; A buddy was in Buffalo last night and he said they were getting dumped on pretty good.

Buck; Love that first shot! Beauty back yard. Is that your pond, and are there any fish in it?

We've had about 10 cm's, so far, and a good portion of that has remained on the ground. We're supposed to get a few more cm's tonight. Nothing to need the snowblower yet, but I'll gas it up tomorrow.

I live on the SW side of Cleveland in the "Secondary Snowbelt"---we are only supposed to get 5-8 inches. The East side, the actual "Snowbelt", is supposed to get upwards of 2 feet of snow.

From the east side of Cleveland up to Buffalo, those folks get dumped on pretty good.

That is my pond and yes it has many many fish, mostly large mouth bass, perch, trout and sunnys.

May be ice fishing it soon. Looks much better like this

Well, that is one sweet spread. I like the winter shot better. Can't beat the beauty of the snow draping over the tree's etc, imo.

Nice Bass. I'd pop a few holes through the ice for sure.

We are at 20 inches of snow as of this morning in Warren County. A couple of the hill top areas around the house are at 25 inches. Forecast is for 5 to 8 inches today, 8 to 12 inches tonight and another 2 to 4 inches tomorrow. Should be over 3 feet by tomorrow afternoon. Yippeee!

Hang in there Buck, only 5 more months until spring.

Tomorrow should be a slow ride in.
Nothing here in the city.

Heading down to Catt Co tomorrow for hunting...should have my fill of snow down there.

Update! 26 inches of snow as of 1:00 pm today. It's now almost 7:30 pm and it looks like it's pretty much over. Some higher elevation areas around us have about 30 inches of snow on the ground. Thank god for snow blowers.

Hey Buck, you still alive up there?
