Earlier at around 5, I merged onto the highway (it's snowing here too) and everyone was going 40km/h. I was thinking WTF? A little snow and the highway is basically "wet looking", so everyone panics and drive at a crawl?
I found out soon enough that it was actually ice..lol All I did was touch the gas and my rear end started fishtailing....yikes!
So, now I know why everyone is crawling. I'm on the highway for maybe a couple of miles and this cab about 3 cars in front fishtails and does a 180 into the other lane (he didn't hit anyone) and as he swings around the car then goes head on into the guard rail, then continues to finish the spin eventually facing the proper direction again. He just kept going as if nothing had happened..LOL It was comical.
Good thing he was driving a Crown Vic.

We've had about 10 cm's, so far, and a good portion of that has remained on the ground. We're supposed to get a few more cm's tonight. Nothing to need the snowblower yet, but I'll gas it up tomorrow.

I live on the SW side of Cleveland in the "Secondary Snowbelt"---we are only supposed to get 5-8 inches. The East side, the actual "Snowbelt", is supposed to get upwards of 2 feet of snow.
From the east side of Cleveland up to Buffalo, those folks get dumped on pretty good.

We are at 20 inches of snow as of this morning in Warren County. A couple of the hill top areas around the house are at 25 inches. Forecast is for 5 to 8 inches today, 8 to 12 inches tonight and another 2 to 4 inches tomorrow. Should be over 3 feet by tomorrow afternoon. Yippeee!

Yeah buck I'm lovin it, althought I only have about an inch here, and it keeps melting . Well it didn't all melt today, and it's snowing very lightly now. Tomorrow supposed to get a lot. Boy, Sunday night into monday, the doppler looked the same for over 24 Hours! Can't imagine how that was. Was pissed that Erie county got completely missed 
. My truck is filthy now though aha. Tomorrow should be a slow ride in.

Update! 26 inches of snow as of 1:00 pm today. It's now almost 7:30 pm and it looks like it's pretty much over. Some higher elevation areas around us have about 30 inches of snow on the ground. Thank god for snow blowers.
