Several mornings and once in the evening, I have started my engine and the windows plus the interior lamps will not work for several minutes. All other stuff works fine. Dealer looks at it and can't duplicate the problem. The tech. thinks the battery saver relay is to blame but can't get the engineers at Ford to buy into his theory of low current/low resistance through the relay could be causing oxidization on the contacts. Too far into the think tank for me, but I do believe in that target area. The tech,off the record, suggested that I switch the int. lamp relay with the battery saver relay when it occurs again... Is it possible that a fuse could be in a condition that the heat from the current causes expansion thus completing the circuit? There is a fuse that affects those relays, but I would expect the radio and other accessories to have similar problems.

I would have to guess no. If you have a blown fuse there is no current to warm it up and make contact. Possibilty of a ground problem. Nothing works, drive a while and it vibrates enough to make good contact, they work. If you have a schematic, look for something in common with all effected systems. Start there. Good Luck.
