problem is, they are small little boats. the crew is barely staffed as is. Men are either working, sleeping or eating. Hard to see the little boats coming at you. When you do, I wana see the man brave enough to peak his head over at 6-10 AK-47's firing, plus a number of RPG's heading your way. Not as easy as the movies make it look. The pirates then throw old school hooks, attached to ropes, and climb aboard. once on, sometimes they lower ladders and what not to get the rest of the guys on board. Think "nija pirates". I know... scary stuff ! Thats what i was reading anyways. One guy hurries up a rope that he throws up there, and then tosses down a rope ladder to the other guys. Oh, and they are hopped up on this stuff:

On another note. Lots of these cruise liners are beginning to hire Blackwater opps to work "security" for their ships, or to be in seperate boats trailing closely behind. i am sure you will see them start protecting commercial shipping as well. Wouldn't that be a site ? A huge shoot out between Blackwater mercs, and crazy *** pirates...

I feel a little bad for these Somali Pirates. If they were Americans someone in the government would steal a Saudi oil supertanker for them so that they wouldn't have to suffer the rigors of hijacking a tanker.

I'd guess that they watch Superfriends and got themselves a grappling hook on eBay.
