Junk Yards- Pull it urself?
Junk Yards- Pull it urself?
I am located in charleston , sc....and am trying to find a junk yard, where i could possible find a crashed truck of my year, and be able to pick parts from it.....does anyone know where there might be one? Or how i might going about finding some online....I have been looking online, and seem to have no luck? Any help or input would be great....Thanks guys!
hey, nice to see another carolinian on here.
search online for blue and gold auto. probably your best bet but i dont believe they are a you pull it.
theres a place called LKQ all the way down rivers by piggly wiggly drive.
i could name a few more junkyards but i have no idea how their service will be.

i am in N. Charleston, I am stationed here. Thanks 4 the info, i will have to check it out.
i was at lkq a few weeks ago and the service is great. gotta pay 2 bucks to get in and look around to find what you need. went looking for some parts for a friends car, while there i didn't see any of our body style trucks though. might have gotten some in since then.
theres a junkyard up in my area where its 50$ and u can take everything u can walk out of there with. they only do it like one day a year. i buddy of mine told me about it.. people pulling motors and putting them in wheelbarrows.. taking off hoods..loading them up and 2-3 guys tying ropes and dragging it out of there.
