Will gas hit $1.50?
I would love to be able to buy $5,000 worth at todays prices.
Do you guys recall some talk not that long ago about being able to lock-in at todays prices, and then just getting your gas as you need it?
Too bad that didn't pan out.

Before gas started it's steep climb I was about to have a supercharger installed.
Didn't know I would be locked into 93 octane until the last moment.
The knowledge gave me pause for concern....I already have 2 cars that have to have 93 octane and I dreaded buying 30 gallons @ $4 per gallon or more. So I paused...still pausing...
Today I bought a tank of 93 octane at $2.05 and switched the tuner to Hi-performance.
Life is good.
I still say the shaft is coming soon....next thursday...thanksgiving.:santa:

Around here it's from about 1.69 to around 2.05 for 87.
Are people forgetting that we're on the verge of paying for the reversal of man made global climate change? It's going to cost us. Cost us dearly. Enjoy it while you can. I believe that as soon as they can, congress, hand in hand with the new leader of the "free" world, are going to bend the American people over and have their way.
Here in Massachusetts the legislature and govenor are poised to raise the gas tax. Ever heard of the Big Dig? I've never driven through it (probably never will, unless I'm planning on comitting suicide) but our state government wants every tax payer in the state to pay for all the corruption buried in it. They've also talked about raising the tolls but that just wouldn't be fair to the people who have to commute, they say. They would rather us all pay for the states misgivings, than the people who use these roadways in their commute.
It is nice to fill the tank for less than seventy bucks. I just don't think it's going to last very long.

I posted above, that last night, I filled up at the Shell for 1.72. At the time, the Conoco near the house was 1.85. On my way in to work this morning, the Conoco is now 1.65.
