Another lemon lot find

1000bucks, 4.oh, fresh rebuild 4R55e, 225k, 4x4 works, fresh tires.

Never had a V6 before. Seems pretty peppy.

I used to have a '96 Eddie Bauer Explorer with that motor. Gas milage sucked. It was 15 city, had more wieght, though. But a good buddy of mine had an '03 Explorer Sport with the newer 4.0L. He installed a K&N intake and Flowmaster exhaust and got 22 city. Would beat most ricers, too.

Great buy for a grand!

Co-worker of mine had an older Exploder -- actually older than that one, I believe -- he put over 200k on it and only replaced a few seals... but, when it went, it went quick.
