Palin 2012?

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...6XzAI&refer=us

So what does anyone think about Palin on the 2012 Republican ticket??. I know myself, is she is the best they can come up with, the party is finished. I like Palin, she is hot and she is a strong conservative woman, I like that, but she is not presidential material. I highly doubt that she wins the primary, but what if she does?. If this were to be the case, Obama will be president till 2016. I still belive that Obama will win is a bigger margin next election, unless something goes horrible wrong. Thoughts??

Since very few people know anything beyond the cartoon version of Sarah Palin we've been presented with so far, I'd say it depends on what we learn about her, and how well the media spends their time trying to destroy her, between now and then. Election 2012 has already began.

I still prefer Mike Huckabee.

well im not voting in 12 anyway so i couldnt care, but even then people will see palin as a saint...... but if by the slightest chance obama is still a savior then id like to see the return of mccain w/jindle vp, and if the messiah survives that one then when i do vote in 16, give them dem party the KO with a romney/ huckabee vp/palin vp/ mccain vp.....

I agree with you, but Tina Fey pretty much trashed her Career. Sad to say that Palin lost this election for McCain, it was a big boost when it was announced, but it slowly went down hill.

I myself also like Huckabee, but I like Mitt Romney much better. I really think that that a McCain Romney or A McCain/Joe Liberman ticket could have made this election alot closer.

I'll support any Conservative who wins the nomination. A lot of the things they say about Palin are the same things they used to say about Reagan.

Romney was my choice this year. I only voted for McCain in the general election as the lesser of two evils.

McCain ran a horrible campaign and was doomed to failure, no matter who his VP choice was. They used Palin to energize the conservative base, and are now throwing her under the bus to neutralize her for 2012, when they will want another moderate to win the nomination.

Unfortunately, the nomination process (allowing non Republicans to vote in the Republican primary) is seriously flawed and offers huge advantages to middle of the road candidates. If you ever want to see a conservative republican as president again, we better fix our nomination process.

.
The really sad part about this election was that McCains best speech was his last. His Concession speech was excellent, I read alot of post on other boards that alot of Obama supporters were very impressed with that speech and most said if he would have spoke that well during the campaign they would have voted McCain. Sometimes I just think it is all rigged..

BOOM!

My wife had nothing good to say about McCain then after that speech I came down stairs and she said "you just missed a really good speech" I said was it good enough that you wished you would have voted for him.

And she just shrugged.

I agree that his campain advisors screwed him on this election.

McCain was about as close to a hybrid Rebublican/Democrat as we could ever have had in the White House.

totally agree. none of us have any idea where the country will be in 2012. if she decides to run then i will give her a shot and listen to what she has to say. i wont let the media try to make my mind up for me like so many have done this time around.

Couldnt have said it better. The McCain in that speech was the McCain I would have been proud to vote for.
