Too funny

Try to ignore the fact that this is a political video, and don't listen to the crap they are saying until the end where the fat lady starts talking/crying.
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/sho...obama.view.cnn

I'll hold out on what I thought was so funny, and see if anyone else dies laughing at it. Post up if you think you got it.

"I can finaly put my suitcase down."
I've always liked whoopie, and I'll not hold that remark against her.
That was a very colorful statement.
In other words. The USA wasn't home until it had a black- byracial leader?
I wanted to not think this was about race to so many people.

But then as has been pointed out to me here, I'm in Arkansas, we all ignorant.
In the Delta region there really is no minority. Unless you want to split hairs by 10% or so.
That kinda hurt

Obama supporters are creaming themselves... The orgasms will eventually end, and the people will realize WTF did we just do. The next four years will definitely be entertaining/hilarious. As long as I do not have to shoot a law enforcement official that is trying to take my firearms away...I will get through it with laughter.

Well im black and I never packed or held a dam thing....you can go back to engl......er um...I digress.

Whoopie is an odd bird...maybe she was gonna leave. Many black entertainers move to Europe where black racism isn't much of an issue.
I think she was once married to a white guy so I cant imagine her having problems with white people...but who knows.
Something I noticed...I was wondering....
Nearly all American slave decendants are biracial...
We were all called nig...treated the same for the most part unless you could pass for white.

Does it make whites feel better to say he is not black, biracial or whatever?
I notice the closer it came to him maybe wining the more some had trouble calling him black.

Yes they are...you cant imagine....they are having multiples.
They love watching McCain supporters/republicans squirm and get kicked around.

What would you do if the shoe was on the other foot.
Be gracious and humble?

You know, it's sad that Hassleback said she was going to have to be a good American and support the President and they took it as she had switched sides or something??? I had a hard time watching that making other people's words fit their agendas. "You've finally seen the light, come to the side with truth and justice". Yeah, a life sentence for killing multiple people is justice huh?

As I've said before Dogg, I live in the Delta, There is not much of a minority here. Whoopy has always been one of my favorite acter/comedians. My friends and I always get the best laughs joking around about our race.

I think you may be right about "Biracial" I 'm not sure why I even put that on there, but I do feel that you tend to put more emphasis on these things, than you should. Again "I" always say "Everyone is prejudice" at some point or another. I do notice you tend to pick up on these things quicker than some.
I know from your posts that, you have issues about your ancester's slave days. But as I have pointed out before. If we were not still a unified nation, there simply would be no more arguement about that issue.
Remember the term "Slave" came from "Slavic" white people in Europe being kidnapped by Vikings, then sold in Africa, and other parts of the Mediteranian.

It is history now, and never mentioned. There is not a person alive today that had anything to do with slavery. But because we are still the same nation, the issue is not left for history, it is simply kept alive.

Often times I only seek to antagonize so don't take me too seriously.
For better or worse, people's personal views are usually a product of their experiences and environment. If you grew up poor, if you grew up in a hostile environment...even if you were the youngest child it shapes the way you think.
Blacks have fought in every war this country has been involved in from it's start over 400 years ago. Does it change everyones attitudes? Hardly. A little more than 30 years ago people where I lived still lived separate based on race and there was hostility from them at us. I have dealt with issues all my life related to history. Was it because of slavery or the aftermath? Does the difference matter? Does it change facts?
Will it all go away if we don't speak of it?

If you ask most Blacks about race relations the majority will answer negatively. If you asked most whites they see it as positive. I think the reason is that it's easier to look from the top down than the bottom up.
Do you wonder why most Blacks cried tears when Obama won or just assume and laugh? What does it say about those with tears and those who laugh?
Perspective is everything.
As far as a unified nation, we always have been in time of war. Peace time is a different story. The fact that slavery still exist today tells us something about ourselves as humans and the fact that we will put money before everything and just watch involved or not.
All I seek is understanding on both sides of the street.

Apply my name to your hebrew knowledge.
Your journey could make you tired and weary.
That begining is in the end the secret of the middle.

I didn't forget...
I was still pondering your paradoxical answer...
I overstand.
