Finally got a ps3!!

yeah though im in my early 20's i still get tickled kicking back behind the latest gaming consoles every now and again, i traded a friend my wii and gh3 (i loved the wii but the lack of different games kinda spoiled it for me, the only thing "M" stands for in the wii world is mario) and i went and bought gta4 (about 100x more different than i thought form san andreas) and just curious on what some other good games are.......

I've actually heard the newer one doesn't quite have the polish of the original. That the online play was just a cluster*******. I haven't tried it myself, so that all may be hearsay.

I got in on the beta for Resistance 2. It is down right insane !! The online maps are not cluster *$@#$'s because the maps are so large. A 80 person battle is quite enjoyable as there is plenty of room to run away and hide unless they are rushing you.

As for the 8 player co-op online, it is a little diffferent and frustrating if you have a bad group. Each class is to complement the other and you have to work what your class is intended to do otherwise you are all dead.

I would love to pick this game up today, but too many bills this month.

when you say "sick at madden" you mean like your one of those guys that can run the ball like 90 yds. down the field on hard and not getted touched, kind of way?.... well thats basically the same reason im into the wrestling games, i didnt really get into football till 2005 and everything before that was all wrestling so ive played them forever and am really good, at one point i woulda said within like the top 500 players in the country....

Now that SOCOM finally has most of the bugs out, I've been playing it on and off. It's different than any shooter out there, far more tactical than COD. None of that respawn nonsense (unless you go into a room specifically created for respawn) you die means you get to wait till the next round. Makes you think about what you're doing and think twice about just rushing in like rambo.

Civilization is pretty fun too, if you happen to be one of those strategy types that want to take over the world.

Pretty much what i mean by "sick at madden" i prefer to pass, i played a friend that though he was good and passed for +500 passing yards with no interceptions, and only 2 incomplete passes, i am sick

Play Search And Destroy if you don't want to re spawn in COD.
